My mom always played this song and all natalie Marchant songs as I kid ..she died a year ago this month from a overdose I found her .she was the kindest and most generous beautiful woman I ever knew.when I was going thru her stuff I found the "tigerlily" album and started listening and actully hearing the words and this song and san Andreas fault I feel such a connection to I had a daughter who is a year old this month named lily after my mom Lillian..I had my daughter last January bc of covid my mom never got to meet her she died at the end of January last yr my daughter had to stay in NICU for three months.but now I look back and feel this song is so special to me and I will always let my daughter lesten to it
