I used to play from when I was 5 as well, all the way until I was 19 and got an MCL tear in my left leg. I miss playing, but adult leagues are BORING! You also missed a massive point. Hockey is not cheap and with how everything is becoming even more expensive, it's just not as feasible for as many people anymore.
