Burst Pipes Damage Apartment || ViralHog

Occurred on December 23, 2022 / Lumberton, Texas, USA

"After work, I walked into my apartment and found this. Our area was hit with an extremely cold storm. My pipes burst earlier that morning, while I was at work. The damage was caused by water running for over 6 hours. My bathroom ceiling collapsed. It caused damage to the bathroom, hallway, and adjacent room. I ran the faucets all night, it didn't help prevent this. This is the second year in a row my apartment complex has dealt with this."

That happened to us once when we were out of town. Our landlord, who loved us, worked around the clock to have it fixed by the time we got home and we lost only a few things because they were so amazing. June and Andy, you guys are the best!

Had this happen to me. Water heater upstairs split down the side. It destroyed my kitchen and part of the living room. Good side was that I got all new carpet and kitchen.

I feel this pain. I lived on the 1st floor, everybody's toilets backed up into my apartment. Moved to the top floor, roof leak with water running down my lights and ceiling fans

Bummer...My sincere prayers of support go out to you. I had a similar mess hit me in a new appartment I loved. A water fall started in my living room in a storms cycle like we're now and I was running back and fourth with full size plastic garbage cans. Be strong. xxalvin

You poor thing! As a man who appreciates everytime my mom comes home from work & everything she does, I can't imagine her frustration. She sounds like a tired mom who just got home from a long day, only to have to deal with this now...

This is one of the reasons I have never lived in an apartment or condo with someone above me...burst water/sewer pipes, water heater, possibly a dead person lying on the floor with bodily fluid seeping thru (lol, yes that does happen).
