“Full employment” means nothing when you can’t afford rent, gas, food, etc. We had “full employment” when we had slavery. The unemployment level shouldn’t be used as a metric for how the average American is doing.

Maybe its time to cut back on all government officials to help inflation and lower prices. In the first place they have more to spend than 75% of the population and some rich. Why don't they help there fellow Americans to help this country, wouldn't you think? They are comfortably enjoy their life styles.

Yeah, right. If energy is an important input, then why was the pipeline project stopped, leases not allowed to be pursued, and strategic oil reserves being used--those are supposed to be used in an emergency when we have no other access.
