Yes it makes sense. Thank-you and may the Lord Jesus Christ richly bless you for sharing this with us today. About fasting, it's hard but God honors our sacrifice. The Holy Spirit rises up stronger in me when I fast and the flesh comes under submission, making it much easier to sense the Spirit and hear from Him. In my own case, it takes at least 5 days of fasting to really get to the point that my flesh dies and the Spirit rises up strong. But I have been weak and struggled for a lot of years at times becoming lukewarm and not reading the Bible or praying due to depression from an unequally yoked marriage. I've been praying for him 21 years and I think that time is about up bc we are near tribulation. God bless and keep you brother.
