Really Handy Items to have in your camera bag

Today I'd like to show you a few really useful products that I always carry along with me when out on my nightscape photography adventures.
These Nitecore products give me a lot of flexibility regarding powering my cameras and keeping the dust and grime out after a night shooting.
There are lots of great products on the market but I love how these guys have come up with really innovative gear that's both easy to use but also hard wearing and reliable.
If you'd like to check out the products I mention in this video follow the link below.

Equipment I use:

Photography
Laowa 15mm f2
ioptron Sky Guider Pro Tracker

I have to say that Richard is the reason I got into Astrophotography and night scapes, I’ve contacted him and responded.
He is a gentleman and a great teacher and an artist.
Thanks Richard for everything.

I love this episode. You just show a few of I believe very many things you use in your daily photo journeys. I mean, the USB charger is an obvious thing, right? Because you can just plug it into the power bank you obviously anyway have and... Well, no. I actually don't shoot the nightscape milky ways like you do, my world is a bit different. I shoot trains and train related photos and there are a lot of people who do that. And quite a few of my friends have already told me that they have got into the point when they were at a location with a flat battery. What a pickle. But I love your way how to pass on knowledge and experience. And experience says you will one day and maybe more often get into the situation that you don't have enough charge, and the USB charger can be a saver. I got mine a few years ago and keep it in my car, and charge my batteries between shooting spots while I drive there. Like I said, my genre is a bit different, but I love the way you present these mundane gadgets. And every photographer should have a USB power bank and a USB charger in their bag. It has already saved me and it would have definitely saved quite a few of my photo pals.

The orange-black suitcase shaped battery bank which has the capacity to recharge multiple batteries of different sorts when you are driving to a location looks like a good investment. Often times, if I have to make a trip to a location, I have to make sure that before starting, all my batteries (camera batteries and even AA or AAA batteries for my flashlights and headlamps) are completely charged. In case I forget doing that, I learn that the hard way and have to hike out of a location, drive to and stop at a convenience or a hardware store to purchase batteries and then drive back and hike back to the location. This battery bank is extremely useful to avoid such a situation. I wonder if they allow you to travel with that on planes as in the US, most of the places have high amounts of light pollution and you can't always drive to your shooting locations and flying is a preferred way.

That s good on you. Not being a reviewer for everything. Even if they are related to your nightscape but we don't really know how good it actually is. I have seen many photography youtubers have been doing this and I think it is going to downgrade their channels.

Hi Richard, I watched this video a couple of days back and really enjoyed it, it was something different but interesting. I had to laugh when you mentioned product reviews. I think you should have testedthat kitchin device, just imagine, it might have been a rumball making maschine to plug into your car!

The blower section made me look at my cameras, and wow, dust specs everywhere. Blower device looks handy (100euro here in europe), but seems worth it. Reminds me I need to vacume out my camera bags also, which I never think to do.
