Best edc for under 100 I got was used at flea market and thrift shops benchmade 550 $1.50, pilot vanishing point $5. 00, leatherman in black $10.00, surefire z2 combat light $10.00.

I bought a few Gerber dimes for friends. None lasted more than 2 months. The plier springs broke and the scissor springs broke. They still serve as an emergency subpar bottle opener.

I loved my Gerber dime so much, but one of the locking springs for the pliars broke after a number of years of abuse. (My own fault, not the tool's)

My problem with the Gerber Dime is that the scissors are not really scissors, they're just two squared off pieces of metal that can't cut anything, like kid's scissors, not blades. So useless, no point of having them on there at all, they're just for show. The Leatherman Squirt, at least the scissors are blades. Other than that, I like this idea.

Second I saw the spyderco I knew this was bs. Those thing have way too little weight and way too thin arms for proper flipping. They are a novelty gimmic and don't work in the slightest. They also take special tiny refills so you get less ink and it's harder to find replacements. They are flat out awful
