Every region of France has its plethora of dishes. A lot of different ingredients, from seafood to game, from soups to salads. You can eat a different cheese each day for five years without eating the same. It goes the same for wine. I am 28 and I am still discovering dishes of my own country. Tastes are personal, but there's at least one thing you will like in french cuisine thanks to the astonishing amount of dishes we have.
Instead of being in that game of "My food is better than yours", we should acknowledge how good we are in Europe when it comes to food. If I'm this serious about food, it is because my dream is to eat something from every country, in that said country. Eating a pizza in France ? Yeah that's cool. But man, eating a pizza in Italy must be godly. Indian, mexican, french, italian, senegalese, chinese, we don't have the same flag, but we have the same love for food ! 🇫🇷👊🇮🇹

As a French, I stand neutral. Italian food is really amazing and French food is pure nostalgia for me. Food is food and food is good folks

It's two different kinds of cuisine which aren't comparable, most of the french cuisine is technics and luxury and the Italian one is based on good quality ingredients and popular cuisine. They are better in their category.

Edit: What I wanted to say is that French are better at gastronomy and Italian at popular cuisine, that's obviously subjective because it's food.
