ℹ️ About the Episode: RV education is a lifelong process. We've been talking about RV tires since episode one (our first flat)—and yet, we're still coming to new conclusions based on our towing experience. Do RV tires need to be rotated? I used to think no... but I've changed my mind. I'll tell you all the reasons why in this episode. We also provide an update on whether the hitch shim we built actually worked and share a new hitch lubricant spray before getting to the good stuff: wheels and tires. We change from 15" to 16" wheels and from ST to LT truck tires. Plus, we rotate the truck tires and use a new Bluetooth OBD2 device to clear that pesky engine light.

If you have ever thought about starting a YouTube channel or just want even better videos to document your journey, we share everything we've learned. Learn how to create, grow and monetize your channel without knowing anything about video or wasting time.

I certainly appreciate all of the steps you show us that create a better and safer riding experience. Not everyone has the detail thought process that you do. I am sure many people are learning from the talking through it process you have going on here. Big thank you!!

Good to see progress for Caleb. Like all of the Leaches, he has a great attitude. I run Goodyear Endurances exclusively on my trailer(s). My old friend, Jeff, from a well respected independent tire shop here in Rochester, MN told me to run them at 65. (that is a period...) I do so and have had no problems. Jeff is gone now and I miss him. He was a great mechanic, friend, and neighbor. Remembering his voice about tire pressure gives me a nice memory of him. Good advice that endures. Get that? Endures. Right.

Thank-you Marc about talking about 3rd trailer cable.

There are Airstream jacking points. Get the tire shop to use them.

You need a torque wrench for your lug nuts.

It’s a cold Indiana evening made much more enjoyable with a KYD video, think spring. Looking forward to 2025 camping season.

You crack me up hoping the weather improves washing wheels in shorts, while the real feel is -30 in Iowa. It's all relative! Enjoyed as usual!

I agree with you about checking the wear on the tires once a year. I always take a look a couple of times though. Usually in the spring when I am preparing my first trip and then in the winter when I’m putting it to bed. I don’t plan on rotating unless I see an issue brewing.
