I would have been happier if they had gone with liquid cooled all aluminium engine, not only it would reduces the mass but also allowed to increases compression ratio and vibration damping.

Times are changing. Will be interesting to see how RE will maintain its hold on the market, specially after adapting to the newer generation engines. Slowly it's uniqueness is fading away.

Improving compression ratio is a good thing. It provides for extracting more torque and power from the same engine and allows for better fuel economy.
Yes I know there are chances of knocking, but i am pretty sure RE has used a newer piston design and newer piston rings to manage all that heat. Do note that the Splendors and the Activas(upto 5g) used a compression ratio of about 9.5:1 and are air-cooled engines and have never really suffered from knocking problems. The newer BS-VI Honda Shine and Hero Glamour uses a compression ratio of 9.9-10.1:1 and doesn't suffer from knocking. So it shouldn't be much of a concern.

I just got the new classic 350 in black color like the one at 2:02 and my god, it is a night and day difference compared to the old UCE engine because I also had a thunderbird 350x which is sold now. Almost japanese level smoothness and first service isn't even done yet. I will complete atleast 3000kms on mineral oil and then use motul's 300v 15w50 oil because it takes only 1.7 litres of oil so no major cost even if I use such a premium quality oil. And then hopefully the faint buzz on the handlebar and pegs will also vanish.

Bro me shubham shukla ....Bhai notification aati hi nhi apki but dekh hi leta hu aur mai bhi yhi soch raha tha ki royal Enfield me vibration kaise khatam huwa hai

For any engine if metallurgy quality is good and other provisions for vibration dissipation are made better compression ratio means more power per litre. Better atomisation will lead to better combustion and less emissions.
