There is so much misinformation here on the internet as far as skincare ingredients, how products work and even what certain ingredients can and actually can’t do for our skin.
And whilst skincare you tubers and bloggers like myself are entertaining to watch we can fall victim to believing false information and then spreading that information as fact.

However, there is a wealth of correct I formation out there in the form of scientists, cosmetic chemists, science educators, biologists and I want to help bring the correct information to the forefront! These are people who actually understand these ‘clinical trials’ and peer reviewed papers that people quote online and know how to draw educated conclusions from those.

I recently asked you guys over on instagram, for your top skincare questions and myths and my Friend Cyrille Laurent, is going to help answer these questions.

These myths cover the fear of Retinol, Sunscreen SPF factors, Fungal Acne, and the hazards of Petroleum jelly / Vaseline!

I've always thought SPF was probably like birth control. Just because using SPF 30 has the same effectiveness in a controlled environment where people are using it perfectly, that doesn't mean it's going to be as effective on someone who's sun exposure is going to vary and who will inevitably unevenly apply it, so you're better off just trying to protect yourself as much as possible and hope that it actually works.

I just wanted to thank you so much!! I've only recently discovered you and have learned so much already! I'm a recovering addict with over a year clean and have never taken care of myself before as I had this incredibly self destructive mentality, and now as a new single mom its difficult to find the time to do so.
