Pearls hypercharge should boost her heat gain when standing in the zone
It would make holding your ground easier when going out of your way to break open walls. And it would make getting back into the fight faster if an assassin dives on you

I am i biased griff main, but griff is so underrated and will be A or S tier and the best tank counter after he gets his hyper charge. His star power is so good because you can shoot and heal up w/o having to wait the extra seconds.
