Do not be a fool. Do not donate. Where is the government money? What is the government for ? If you take taxes, don't prepare, then ask homeless and border homeless citizens to donate? If the beauracracy and red tape can be overcome to rebuild these homes, then what purpose does the beauracracy and red tape serve during "normal" times? Why haven't these officials gotten rid of the red tape for Angelenos before this? And why are we fast-tracking the reconstruction of homes in fire-prone areas while waiving safety standards?
