For all of you wondering the lyrics are "Give and give away my unhappyness in colors" (repeat) its from one of Soonys old songs called "Equinox" when he didnt make dubstep he just sang.

At 0:27, if you listen closely, you may hear the words,
"For you I give and give away
My unhappiness in color"
This originates from a song by Sunny Moore aka Skrillex of you didn't know. The song of which is named "Equinox".

The following distorted lines repeat, "your world" and "in color" which follow the same lines of his lyrical song.

The title of First of the Year (Equinox) pays tribute to his original song.

There's another YouTube video called "Skrillex: How He Did The "First of the Year" Equinox Vocals" that better defines this explanation.

The only other audio is the distorted "Bass Drop" verse when played normal, and has no meaning when played backwards.

Note about the "Equinox": If you look up "Equinox- Sonny Moore" you will find a song by Skrillex, basically, the reason it says it here is because chopped up, high-pitched and backwards. Sonny added "For you I give and give away, my unhappiness in color". It's the first 'line' in the song. Check it out. c:

I checked when you play the song backwards... When it says call 911 now it really says "OH NO NO NO I think skrillex is trying to tell us about his past and what happened to him.

Each time he sings everyone hears different things. It is what you chose to hear. I hear nailed daddy in then back, but when I look at other comments I hear that too. It is just like the dress with so you see white and gold or black and blue

for everyone who doesnt know this the vocals r from his song called equinox he sped it up reversed them and chopped them up. hence the name first of the year (equinox)

I think I know how skrillex makes his songs. I think he just starts right up at the drop and makes the rest of the song, and then plays the outro backwards to make his intro. Straight up, seems like it for quite a few of his songs.
