Super cool! Soo many 8 bit ideas! I wonder if it cracked because it dried out. It is a lot like an end grain cutting board and those you keep oiled all the time or they crack too! Either way, great project and thanks for sharing! 👍🍻

it cracked because you have end grain with an edge grain border. end grain should never be mixed with edge or face grain
