Nowhere is the concept of trinity mentioned in the bible. Splitting god into three and thinking it is somehow significant is a concept invented by the church.

What do we understand by a Trinitarian God. In the Christian faith the Trinitarian God means three persons in one God. The person referred here should not be understood as human person but rather a divine person. It means there are three divine entity in one God. It can be termed as singularity in plurality. The Trinity as understood by Christians is God, the Spirit of God and the Word of God. They appear as three entity but is only one God.
In order to have a simple understanding we can take a comparison with the Sun. Sun is not God but a created object. It is used here just for understanding. The Sun similarly has three entities viz. The Sun, its heat and its light. Inspite of the three entities we still say one Sun and not three Suns. Similarly God has three entities God, Word of God and Spirit of God and yet one God.
Further we see the power of the heat of the Sun is inside the Sun and at the same time the heat is also on earth when the Sun shines. It show some what its omnipotence. Similarly we see the light of the Sun, which is within the Sun and at the same time is present on the earth where it shines. This show its omnipresence.
God in a similar manner but much more portently becomes omnipotent and omnipresent. It is an all knowing God who is the creator of all things and who is everlasting. He has used the other two entities to achive the purpose of creation. He was God, He is God and will remain God.
I am sure you have now understood the concept of God as One God comprising of three entities. Christians therefore believe in only One God which means monotheism.
Let not the devil fool you with his half lies and irrational arguments.
