Apart from the source of life, we wither and die. It's no wonder then to discover that not only is His grace salvific, but strengthening.

Excellent work. The soldier and athlete part connect with Chapter 4 verse 7. "i have fought the good fight, I have ran the race" As a soldier and an athlete we do these things.

Gods Grace is the Power.. Given by God..to OverCome..Pride..Anger..Lust and Greed. But we certainly Need to Do Our Part! We Cannot be Free from Sin..until we Stop Sinning!

No amount of prayer, seeking, repentance Etc ever helped me overcome my "demons" which were a direct result of childhood trauma starting even before I was born. It was only after leaving the church, reformed theology, the Bible, religion all of it behind that I was able to begin the healing process. I was only able to come to True understanding of my issues after removing the religious narrative from my mind. It is not helpful or healthy in any way. Biblical theology held back my healing by 20 years. I am so much more mentally and spiritually healthy now than I ever was as a believer. This is objectively true. I am more patient, more loving, less angry, more tolerant, more forgiving, more understanding, more JOYFUL, more grateful... than I ever was as a believer and I had sought God with tears and with all my heart for this grace. Isn't it interesting that my healing only came after leaving all of it behind? Now my marriage is better than ever as well.

Christians Believe in a God So Great that He Can Create a Universe! Yet they believe He is Incapable of communicating with them..except through a book written, translated and quoted by Men! God is Capable of communicating with His People..directly..and this is What He is trying to Tell you in the bible. Yet you go on listening to men quote a book! Why do You Not Seek God Yourself? He is HERE..available to All and is Your Only True Source..as He explained clearly..in the bible.

Grace is Gods Power..to Each and EveryOne of Us..who Seek Him. Jesus Power to Dwell Within Each of Us to Help Us Personally With every detail of our very Own Lives. Jesus is a Living God..perfectly Capable of Speaking and Helping Each and EveryOne of Us. Jesus is Not a book and He is Not a man quoting a book. You people do yourselves Great Disservice by Not Seeking Jesus Yourselves and instead trusting a man who does not even Know You and has Not got a clue what you Need or what is Right for You.
