What is the CompTIA CSA+ and is it worth it?

This is from the CompTIA website "CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA+) is an international, vendor-neutral cybersecurity certification that applies behavioral analytics to improve the overall state of IT security. CSA+ validates critical knowledge and skills that are required to prevent, detect and combat cybersecurity threats."
I will try to sort through this and give you my opinion as an instructor on if it is worth it.

how should a first year Networking student at kish start these certs? buy the books, YouTube, Rob someone who already has them?

So why is CNNA security more recognized than comptia? Just got my sec + would like to add more knowledge and have of course bring it up in a job interview and impress some with the not only the cert but the knowledge it can give me

So im under the 8570 DOD code. Im studying for the CSA now. I have the SEC+ cert already. Does this cert fall under the 8570 code?
