9 SECOND Porsche 991.2 Turbo S DRAG TEST - stock and tuned.

Our 2018 Porsche 991.2 is powered 3.8 Liter Twin Turbo Flat 6 which is rated at 580 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque when stock. For us, that was not enough so we turned to our friends at Champion Motorsports to add a Tubi Exhaust and Tune the ECU. After the initial base Tune, our driver piloted the car to a very respectable 10.17 at 134 mph.

Very Kewl ! I remember racing a Baja Bug back in the later 70's in my 340 Dart GTS. Dont know what setup he had but all i saw was tail lights! Gave me a new perspective on German cars!

For me the y pipe has been an issue because after just tuning my mk2 tts it exploded when i was driving down the road so i suggest the do88 y pipe because the stock y pipe doesnt cope with the boost that well

What is your thoughts on the R888R's ? Doesn't look like it helped the 60 a lot since the M's were hooking pretty good. Are you going to daily drive the R888R's ? Impressive ride.

Will a tune like this void an extended warranty even though you can swap back to the stock file? Basically, if the stock file is swapped, will the dealer still be able to tell if the computer has been messed with?

What was the damage for the exhaust? I see the tune was $2500. And does the car run well as a daily without the 100 octane in it or do you change the tune for daily driving with 93 octane?

Very good. My car with off the shelf COBB tune and exhaust lost 6mph. Don't buy COBB if you're not going to invest in a custom tune, everyone...
