Erin! Thank you. I was a paraeducator for ten years at an elementary school for children with special needs with some sort of orthopedic impairment as well. I loved my job! I did all aspects, working with neurotypical children in the general education population, and integrating our special needs children into the gen ed population classrooms. It can be difficult from both sides. No matter what side you are familiar with, side with, experience with, whatever, it is never ok to make a joke, make fun of, or anything of the sort of children regarding some sort of an impairment that a child may have, even if it is about a neurotypical, gen ed child. Sure, it is fine to share funny things that happen, or funny things they say. I am all about that! Kids crack me up all the time. But there is no room for talking about, in a public format, making fun of, etc. of really, any children. Even babies can have their feelings hurt. And, as you said Erin, these children have parents or guardian's who love them. They are someone's baby. Be respectful, especially in a public format! These are human people, and even if they have a severe cognitive impairment, and may even be non-verbal, they still understand more than you thing they do. I'm sorry, but this issue gets me going.

I just change out decorative paper in the clear cover for the season. I like my planner to be all together and not split up. And I don’t ever feel like a mess up or “ugly spread” can’t be saved and I’m firm believer that you improve over time and it’s nice to go back and see that change as you flip thru. So I don’t replace planners if the cover isn’t seasonal or I messed up some how. But I enjoyed your setup video.

Erin love your videos thank you so much the stickers are so cute heres some hints i am older fan of yours, i used to get hot flashes they come from high stress and dyhration, drink more water and relax more, reduce your ac to 68 if you can or 70 it works and of course take a good whole food vitamin and eat healthier more veggies and less sugar, Love those tabs of course i love coffee too and i suffer from migraines but i dont take medications too many side effects so i do holestic, , , like coffee monster co they seem to be so adorable, velum with the little cuties ahh my goosh perfect.

I share your view regarding the sensitivities around the story you shared. Like you, I agree that kindness and empathy is paramount. I am learning that by sharing our experiences as parents with neurodiverse kiddos, we are helping others be more empathetic, and we need to be able to share our hard moments without concern of judgement too. Same! Unacceptable. I may be totally biased as a mom of a son on the spectrum and a former homeschool mom. These are kids and that can cause trauma and school refusal.
