Governor Ducey reacts to controversial bills passed by Arizona Legislature

In an exclusive interview, Governor Doug Ducey addressed bills dealing with abortion and transgender rights. He reacts to the bills passed.

The governor was at a Boys and Girls Club in the Valley to discuss getting kids focused on learning through an eight week summer camp being held across Arizona to address learning deficits that occurred during the pandemic.

This is positively ridiculous. Abortion and transgender bills are too far over the cliff. If you don't want an abortion, don't have one. If a child is transgender and wants to live their true self, as they should be able to, why is it anyone else's business?? It is no one's business. We should be encouraging kids to make their choices in a well-informed manner, with the necessary counseling for them and their parents who may have many questions and concerns. A child or adult, for that matter, should not be forced to live in a way that is not who they are on a deeply personal and emotional level just because someone else is ignorant or does not have the respect to stay out of someone else's business. Be about YOUR business and stay out of other people's business. What is so hard about that?? 🧐🕵️‍♀️

Cannot even get Phoenix college to accommodate a slight LD problem now related to technology. Refuse me and nobody in state government hold anyone accountable. Butt dial to my elderly mother, my sister & my brother out right lied to my mom, Diane told my mom “no such thing”. They need to include medical, rape and incest exceptions in the bill. The trans bill is a no brainer.

At 15 weeks you have had plenty of time to weigh your options and make a decision based on the information if you are going to keep it or not. No one is taking away that right they just want you to make that choice at a reasonable time.

I dont have any issues with either of the trans bills...if you are under 18 you should not be able to make those kinds of decisions. and men should not be allowed to compete in woman's sports.

How irresponsible is to have unprotected sex and take a life away from that outcome. Since people can't control themselves there should be a way government can lock your reproductive system and unlock it until you can prove you can afford to provide a good education and economic stability to new life.
