New for Fall 2012, the AXO Drone boots make an ideal choice for an entry level motocross boot that is designed to be lightweight, functional, and affordable. This standard height MX boot uses a synthetic leather upper that will resist wear and takes less time to break in. 4 PU buckles allow the rider to fine tune fit and can be replaced if sheared off. A traditional triple stitched sold and stainless steel kick-plate provide good feel and sure footing and a stainless steel shank reduces flex while standing on the pegs. A PU molded shin plate and variable thickness PU support provide protection with little restriction to movement. A plastic heat guard on the inside of the boot helps protect the rider from hot parts on the motorcycle and a gaiter at the top of the boot helps seal out dirt and debris. Offered in Black only and in sizes 7-14.

The AXO Drone are a great entry level MX boot, but they are not really designed as rugged as some of the other options out there. I suggest giving our Gear Geeks a call for help. In the meantime, check out the AXO Freedom which are more geared towards touring. ~Ali

They are huge in Europe for sure, but their visibility isn't as great in the US. Hopefully that will change :-). -CK

I know Sidi can fit a bit narrow, but I don't have as much experience with Axo in comparison. Anyone out there able to comment? -CK

Nice boots, I'm considering getting these... I wear a Euro 44 size on Sidi Vertigo roadracing boots, will these be about the same fit?

What you think on using these boots for Hard-Trailing on a Suzuki DR 650 RSE? Nowadays I'm using touring boots, which feels comfortable, but it doesn't have a year and are almost broken. I'm searching a more durable boots than this, but not a pair of boots superhard and suited for enduro.
