All day, all night of *Art+Culture+Live Music+Dance+Prayers+Ritual+Drum Circles+Workshops+Upcycling+Eco Bazaar*

This year we come together once again in celebration of the annual Earthdance 2012 Global Festival for Peace, aligned with the International Day of Peace, held in 500 locations and 80 countries around the world, including the Philippines. Since its inception in 1997 it has become the largest Dance and Peace event in the world.

This year, we're inviting you to dance your way to a cleaner Philippines. With our city under water after only a few minutes of strong rain, never has it been more obvious that our attitude to trash needs a serious overhaul. It's time to ditch the junk once and for all and get funky. We have a great line up of local and foreign bands, music and workshops, a solar powered dance-floor, a trash converter and much much more. All proceeds from this year's festival will go towards the "Litter-Free/Flood-free Country" Project. For starters, we mean to buy enough proper garbage bins to give to every home in Metro Manila. "EarthDance Festival Manila 2012: More Funk, Less Junk" Let's get moving!
