7C150 euro 5 it's in limp mode there a light on dash board looks like a cylinder would this be the problem if exhaust break was sticking many thanks

just bought my first diesel. Isuzu npr. exhaust brake dash lite is always on. runs great and brakes like any gas vehicle. does the brake pedal actuate the baffle to close for the back pressure, cause I think my lite is on and is not closeing. I don't have that sound like it's back pressuring. but everything seems ok besides mileage i'l have to check. would it run funny if trying to throttle being closed? any advice or thoughts wpuld be helpful, thanks
