The Donner Vowel Mini is a dual-function mini rocker pedal that operates as both a typical wah wah pedal and an active volume pedal with click of the foot switch. Green and red indicator lights tell you which mode you're in.

It's an "always on" pedal, which is why the active volume control is so important. It doesn't buffer or bypass your signal, but the wah does have a noticeable boost to it. Keep it in front of your chain for most wah functions, or drop it into the FX loop for the best volume control functionality.

Was there something you didn’t like about the passive volume control in the green pedal? Did the green pedal do better volume swells than the red one?

The review is ok, nothing wrong with that. Thanks!!! But the guitar is really out of tune.... But I just ordered this pedal to put it on a spare pedalboard for jams, rehearsals etc.

Sounds like crap...especially with guitar out of tune. It really doesn't take that long to tune a guitar. And that boost on the wah sux.
