Saramonic Mix-Mic XLR audio Phantom power audio adapter - DSLR FILM NOOB

The Mix-Mic is the same form factor as the Sony K1M-XLR audio adapter but is capable of working with pretty much any camera. It provides protected audio via a mono mix, independent level, and phantom power control as well as pad and gain internally.

On top of all of that, it also comes with a brand new boom mic. Price is expected to be around $300 and it should start shipping in the next 3 months. Very cool

This looks nice! Great for a compact one wireless, one on camera mic setup on a dslr. You should go to the Sony booth and check out their new two channel receiver with an extra minijack input. Three channel mixer (two wireless ch, plus ext input) on board and cable free connection with Sony cameras.

What would you say the weight on that was? Looks like some pretty heavy metal, but could have been plastic?

This looks promising. Did you manage to see if it provided +20 gain for mic inputs? I see a 10db and 20db but it appears to say ATT (Attenuator)... Thanks!
