Automatic remediation and other tales of event-driven automation

The Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform has played a key role in the modernization of IT automation, and event-driven automation is advancing possibilities and expanding the solutions available to respond to operational situations. While that automation has often been at the initiation of people or schedules, Event-Driven Ansible allows automation to be triggered by other observed events in the wider ecosystem of management and observability tooling. Being able to respond to these situations provides an additional level of automation capability, whether it be in aiding problem discovery, requesting approval, or automated remediation, let us show you what we've learned in 10 years of enterprise automation and what guided us to add the event-driven paradigm to the Ansible Automation Platform.
