After 14 years, I think I know every inch of that place. It was great seeing it through your eyes.

I don't often comment on videos, but just have to say how mesmorising that drone imagery was! it was like looking at something from NASA! An absolutely amazing landscape, and perfectly captured!

Amazing location and amazing images. I particularly enjoy how you're now showing the view through the camera as you search for compositions. It very clearly illustrates (and reminds us) that small changes in position—left, right, up, down—can have substantial impact on the image.

You’ve done it again! Your abstracts are amazing. I’m flabbergasted. I’ve been to Utah/southwest six times now and every trip, every day, I feel the same way as what you describe here. I hope you return for many more enchanting sessions. Your videos are the most enjoyable of all the bloggers I follow. Thanks for that.

dude, it's one of the best youtube lessons on photography I've ever seen. And it's mostly because of the pace you have here, the atmosphere, the music, the attitude. I can feel how you love photography and how you love to tell your story about it and how amazed you are by it.

I subscribed.

Astounding work! I lived less than 2 hours from there and hiked, & photographed AZ for 18 years. But that was back in the '70s. I never knew it existed until now. Thank you for a mental kick to the backside.

I started using a wide angle, 11-18 on a crop sensor, and I'm really enjoying it. I can get whole buildings in my pictures, and it works pretty well for people and other things. Your drone images were amazing, I hope I can learn to do that someday.

No wonder you were stuck for words, Michael, so am I. But a pictures worth a thousand words, right. In this case... several pictures.
The wide-angles, drone shots, abstracts... perfection, all of it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You are a master at capturing details in busy environments. I love the way you show your technique while filming. It is so helpful to see what you see. Incredible colors and composition.

Hi Michael. Not sure that I've commented before but I've definitely watched and enjoyed many of your videos (and paid courses). I just wanted to say thank you for what you share and the way you share it. It always comes from a positive place. I always enjoy your happy (and mostly relaxing) views of wherever you are. Always a joy to watch - thank you

white pocket is gorgeous!!! So alien yet mesmerizing! I was lucky enough to be there right after a storm so I got some shots with pools of water in those amazing little divots and crevices. That tree in the middle of rock was stunning. We were also there while a storm came rumbling in. I captured a shot with the bright beautiful sun on the left of one of those peaks with the storm coming in from the right. I got the shot and then got dumped on. But it was totally worth it!!
