I got a bad unit from Fosi. Wouldn't do anything at all. Sent it back to Amazon for a refund. Got my money back and Fosi emailed me and wanted to send me another unit for free to evaluate. Well the second one actually works. I had to adjust gain to 3/4 as well as turn up Treble and Bass 2/3 to get it to match the output of my Rolls v29 preamp. All and all a good tone to this unit. Think I might upgrade the tubes and see what happens.

Does the X4 sounds different to X2? I am interested only in phono stage. Is it same, better?

I'm surprised to see that the X3 actually seems to have more features than the X4, given that the X3 has Bluetooth antenna too, while the X4 doesn't. I couldn't tell what other differences there are though - do you know if the X4 has better internal components or something?
