I'd recommend going to Pilot Careers Live, which is in many major European cities twice a year- I'm going to the the London Heathrow event in April for the second time this year!

To be honest there are quite a few flight schools around my area that are quite good so and there is a loan that now makes it easier for me to go integrated now rather than gaining my PPL the modular way.

Have you ever had a landing in a real hurricane/winter storm? and did you like it? I landed once in Salzburg between the mountains, I think during the storm Kyrill, first a go-around and then made it. I loved it so much. Only one more plane landed, then the airport was closed. Would like to know more about go-around, how do you calculate the fuel, how many go-around you can do and does the computer calculates what alternative airport you can reach with your fuel? How much time you need to calculate all this and e.g. can you say to the tower "I need a larger go-around to check some things"?

To be perfectly honest with you, I watch your podcasts because I find you extremely attractive. I hope you don't mind. Nevertheless, even though I have a good job in my chosen career and have no interest in becoming a pilot, I do find this subject matter quite interesting; you are extremely knowledgeable and personable, and I admire your humble self confidence.
Oh, and I also wanted to compliment you on your facility with the English language. You speak it so well and with such ease. It's absolutely fantastic.

Hi mentour pilot your doing excellent job on advising future pilots and explainingeverything, just a quick question what is a hernia check and testicular examination, who is required to take one on the class 1 medical, is everyone required to do one or is it only required from people with high risk or family history?

I'm an aspiring pilot but I really don't know whether I want to go through the RAF and fly fighter jets like the Typhoon or become a commercial pilot. I'm 16

About flight school, if we have a physics major, can flight school focus on teaching us the flying parts and using the simulator a lot instead of having to go through science classes again? Or is flight school already considered a graduate school? I am actually more interested in the aircraft production aspects but knowing what pilots do is important to invent better aircraft and possibly ones that can finally change what kind of fuel they use from the usual fossil fuels to anything greener from biofuels to hydrogen to (I doubt this can happen, battery).
