I love my GPD P2 MAX, I just got it in about a month ago, it is to be my New iTunes laptop (right now I have three external hard drives hooked to the thing to hold all my movies and tv shows, I could get that down to two drives, with this virus outbreak tho things like that are not in the budget right now)
I wish you'd make a version of this just for digital movies and tv shows, I wouldn't have any problems carrying one around, that was made to hold two 5 TB 2.5 hard drives in this screen size if not maybe just a bit bigger but as thick as the old portable DVD players
My favorite PC game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 plays just great on this device at somewhat lower settings of course and its fun too lol

This is a pretty tactical gadget. I just bought myself a budget 10, 1" touchscreen Asus microlaptop from 2013. These kind of devices got some serious issues with customizing the guts. My mobile PC has at least customizable 2, 5" slot for HDD or SSD. It's 2TB for me. Installing 2TB SSD will cost slaty, 2, 5x more than my Asus costed me ^^' RAM is integrated and it prolly runs single channel, so I'm stuck with 4GB DDR3 and 512MB of that space is taken by integrated graphic card . It would be dope to put my hands on something with decent performance, real nice quality of the screen and HDMI input port to use my PS4 when I travel.

It's an interesting idea, a throwback to the netbooks of yesteryear. At the same time I can't shake the feeling it's a product too small to be really useful as a laptop and too big to be really portable. Another 1 inch screen size would have given more space for a proper keyboard while adding little in the way of bulk.

I own GPD2 pocket and I would not buy max model because it misses the turn off the fan unlike GPD2 pocket.

I am not doing gamming but instead developing software so I prefer a quiet environment and I do not need much processing power and RAM.

Too bad it doesnt have a backlite keyboard... That's essential for travel and non-office environment that may not have good lighting. Add on led light is never a good option as it tends to get blocked by your hands on the keyboard.
