The issue with mohair is that it’s very difficult to tell if they are being cruel or not to the point it was banned by Zara and H&M. Brushed alpaca is a good alternative

I had a Mohair dress in the 70s. It was beautiful n felt good on my skin. I still have it in a box. Of course it wont fit n wouldn't be appropriate for me even if it did. I cant bare to get rid of it. Love your halter top. Those were popular then too.
