Interesting! I have never added citric acid to soap! Have you noticed it being pretty effective against soap scum?

I'm new to soap making...I'm intrigued by the heat transfer method, have not seen anyone do this!! Sounds like a great idea, why wouldn't it work to melt the hard butters with the hot lye solution??? Thank you
