I was totally not expecting this in here! Payne is very rare around California, and I’ve only seen it a handful of times. Older San Francisco elevators aren’t too common either, so this is a cool combo. This thing is in really good condition.

I've always loved those Payne buttons too. There were 4 on UMD campus when I was in school but they were bottom-drive tractions with the loudest, snappiest relay-logic controllers I've ever heard (think borderline gunshot loud relays). So cool!

These were common in SoCal on O&W installations but now both O&W & Payne design buttons are disappearing fast.
