Husqvarna 701 Supermoto 2017 Dyno-run nr 2 with OEM tuning kit

I have only seen one guy done done this comparrsion between stock and tuning kit before, the german guy from pirate racing. I was very sceptical to his result tough, so lets try with my own bike instead.

Result is good! stock was 70,23hp/68,40nm, with tuning kit the max power reached was 73,46hp/72,08nm. Not that bad gains on a small engine. But the most gain is in the midrange! If you look on my image on the dyno-run the power at around 5 000rpm it' gained over 10nm and almost 10hp.

If we play with some numbers.. The stock bike has 74hp in engine, i got 70,23hp on rear wheel. Thats about 5% loss. So the new run with 73,46 it now produces around 77-78hp/75-76nm in engine. Not bad!

Seems strange that they had it drop off the power faster with the kit put on, I've rode a 2017 and 2018 both with Evo kits and they're great machines, I hope to have one of my own in the future

Did you notice increased low end mid power( butt Dyno)?I've seen the Dyno comparison with pirate racing as well.Ive also watched a video from some guy from Sweden, saying on a Dyno, his didn't do much better than stock.Im not looking for peak power but more lowish_mid.

Please help, I just did all the upgrades, muffler air box from Husky and added PC5, , also removed all EPA now my engine light is on all the time. I purchased 2 plugs to plug into the SAS and the Canister, light is still on ?

Jag fick min 701 -17 års modell bänkad idag. Fick ut 72hp och 77.3 trq. Jag förväntade mig mer. Då hojen ska va 74hp från fabrik. Är lite kluven över resultatet. Jag har PC5, sc project slip-on samt Rottweiler kit luftfilter mm

Nice! What kit do you use for the front xenon? Is that normal H4?

Great result dude, was there a new map with the oem kit? If not you should see good results with a power commander and tune.
I did some reading on the KASTL-kit, that looks like an awesome mod, I saw some dyno results with variouse mods for the 701
and the kastl intake kit generated the best improvement of any single mod.
