Suburban Backyard Garden Tour: First-Time Gardener

During the Covid-19 Pandemic while we were in lockdown / quarantine, our son started a garden in our tiny subdivision backyard. We had no idea it would be so successful!

This is a boxed garden, with extra soil added to make up for our sandy yard. In this 10 ft by 5 ft space, he's growing cucumbers, basil, corn, parsley, tomatoes, potatoes, along with some spinach and lettuce that we've already eaten.

He is completely new to gardening and has never gardened before. He's learning completely by trial and error and internet research!

I just harvested my carrots and planted for second crop..you can move the dirt for the carrots at the top to just check. Also picked my early potatoes before work this morning I think in 3 weeks I will have full size.
