25 Great Danes Seized | Neighbors upset after Butte County woman mauled to death by dogs

The Butte County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly dog attack and has seized 25 Great Danes.

yikes, so if animal control DID have 2 calls about the dogs why didn't they go investigate it? or if they did why aren't the findings being reported? Shame they had to wait for a death to address something the community already knew about.

Guy probably a backyard breeder. Great Danes need early traing and socializing. That many dogs running around revert to a pack mentality. Sad for that lady and also for the dogs who cant help it.

Very few of those dogs looked like they had great Dane in them.

Animal control was probably too busy hara ssing good owners elsewhere. They never show up when you call over blatant animal ab use or animals found wandering loose but they sure know how to pester people over expired licenses or barn cats despite being well cared for.

Sue Butte county. Their Animal Control clearly did little to investigate the problems with these dogs. Just off the top of my head I can see there are at least 5 violations of the county ordinances, most important being the dogs running at large. Neighbors need to sue!!!

I don't understand this. Great Danes is usually the gentle giants of the breed. Someone must have treated those dogs really bad for them to run loose like that. That was sad how that lady was killed by those great Danes.
