Mumbai Rains: Heavy Rain Cripples Mumbai Amid IMD Red Alert, Will It Survive A Week Of Downpour?

IMD issues warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall across Mumbai and Maharashtra. The Konkan region in particular is anticipated to experience intense downpour. IMD predicts that some areas could receive more than 12 centimetres of rain. This is happening as a cyclonic circulation lies over north-central Maharashtra. IMD has issued a red alert for Nashik and orange alert for Palghar, Pune, Nandurbar and Dhule. From September 28, the risk of heavy rainfall will extend to various parts of central Maharashtra and Gujarat
