Bridgit Mendler Scores Hollywood Records Deal

Disney star Bridgit Mendler is set to take on the music world -- the Good Luck Charlie lady just landed a record deal with Hollywood Records and ClevverTV has the full story coming at you now!

ClevverTV is back in action. Hello friends, I'm Joslyn Davis at our studios with exciting news from Bridgit Mendler's team. B-M is already doing her thing on the Disney Channel in both her series as well as in "Lemonade Mouth," and according to Billboard Magazine, the 17 year old will soon be making music with Hollywood Records. According to the reports out there currently, Bridgit's debut release should be coming sometime early in 2012. About her music career, Bridgit told our pals over at JustJaredJr this: "I'm gearing up to record some new songs. I'm really excited. I have a ton of songs written that hopefully will make it onto some sort of album." And luckily for us, those songs B's been working on will make it onto an album -- so we're wondering what her sound will be like? I think she actually has talent. I listened to "Somebody" from the Lemonade Mouth Soundtrack, and I actually like it better than any song by Miley Cyrus. And I like that she is not as overexposed as some other "Disney Stars".

@bestpinkie I get what you mean if they're BAD at it, like Rebecca Black, but that's not really neccessary to say in most cases because in most cases people just want to try new things--they're rich and famous so why not. Doesn't mean they have to be good at it, doesn't mean they'll get tons of new fans or haters, but that could happen.

Yeah she does have sort of talent to me but still like seriously Everyone else has better vocal experience & i listented to somebody & yeah she kinda does sound pretty good ! *Dude*, you need to calm down a little & maybe read comments a tad more carefully. I never said that Miley can't sing, I just said I like a song by someone else better than her songs. It's a matter of taste. And I said I think BM has talent, which is an assuption based on what I've heard from her so far. Demi is a great artist, and I never said otherwise.
And guess what, I am allowed to say what I said because it's my OPINION. Makes me neither ignorant nor dumb.
