After listening to an LP for years, I thought the words were:

Psychedelics could have been involved, of course.

Sadly David was practically shouting this song in concert, when it was very close, intimate and quiet singing in the studio version. It's only enjoyable, ,, to a point ... for diehard fans ... like me ... and even I must skip ahead to the non-singing parts now ;)

all studio albums pure masterpieces, but what a lame live band they were... it was only by 1977 that they learned how to sound really well

Gilmour's voice is a little off, but excellent song anyway

I don't think this song is a good live one. The chorus, like others have commented about Davids voice, was intended for soft voices which he can use for that register. Playing this song live without Ricky backing vocals up it just doesn't seem to work. Parts 1-3... my favourite Gilmour song evah!!!!

Bizarre that he can’t sing it live whereas on the album it’s no problem. A rare Gilmour fail vocally. No such problem with the guitar.
