New Design! 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid First Look - Release And Date
The future of the highly-popular Toyota RAV4 in Australia is still up in the air; it is not known if it will be a total redesign or merely a major update to the current model, which has been available since 2019.

This digital RAV has been given a far more violent appearance by digital artist Nikita Chuiko compared to its previous, less frightening, angular shape. The massive grille up front and the reshaped headlamp arrangement are the most striking changes.
The current trend at Toyota is to make new vehicles look more aggressive than prior generations, and this design philosophy fits nicely with that. For instance, the GR86 and the 2024 Toyota Camry both feature large trapezoid grills.
Similarly, the rear has a revamped tailgate with a full-width, multicolored lighting signature that is both more sleek and modern.
Given that the current model formed the basis of the whole picture, it is reasonable to assume that the overall shape and structure of this RAV4 have not been changed considerably. But we expect the real thing's flanks and important lines to be very different.
The classic variety of gasoline and hybrid powertrains will probably undergo a facelift or be gone entirely, just with the new Camry. Following the lead of the new C-HR, Camry, and Yaris Cross—which are all hybrids—it would not be shocking if the best-selling medium SUV did the same with its next generation.
