Before my dad passed away, he asked me (his daughter) to make sure this gets played at his funeral, and I made sure it was delivered. because it was his favorite song by Elton John and by God when he passed, he was right, he is a rocket man, flying away. I miss him everyday. April 21st will mark two years since I said good bye to my rocket man

Years ago I pulled up beside a motorcycle in myrtle beach and the guy had this song playing on the bike. I was heading out to return home, the weather was perfect and that guy looked so free and enjoying his ride by the ocean. One of my goals is to do the exact same, one of the most peaceful situations I've seen. Every time I hear this song I relive that moment.

I FOLLOWED Elton John from the beginning of his career..I am a big fan..I saw him three times in concert..He put on a great I saw Rocket Man...I loved it...He went through a lot..I am so happy he is sober and drug free..Plus he married the love of his life..They have two children together..He is blessed to be alive at 71...Thank you Elton for all the wonder memories and good times..listening and dancing to your music...
