CBDC absolutely must be prevented. Florida Gov De Santis is trying to keep it out of Florida and in Texas, Sen Ted Cruz introduced a bill to keep it out of Texas. The dangers you point out are very real. People's funds could be completely cut off, funds can be set to expire, limits could be set on what, when, how, and where people spend their own hard-earned funds.

This will be a complete nightmare, this is the most unbelievable thing to do. This will definitely ultimately affect us. I can't even imagine how this will work this is absolutely unremarkable I can't imagine our crime filled economy to progress to such change. We've been using cash and credit cards transactions for many years and this new start to the world will be devastating.. Just imagine how different and difficult the world will be.. This is insanity especially the expiring cash that will disappear if you don't spend it quickly enough. I am sorry to say this but this will be the most horrendous thing that the U.S government could ever do to this economy. Why take something like this away now? Americans already struggle with enough debt now, and to say that the cash will disappear is utterly unbelievable. It's crazy to say this but I honestly don't want to live anymore if this happens.
