What a performance by the rookie, Michael McGreevy! 7 IP of 1 run ball is really good for his debut start in the MLB. Tommy Pham has been such a great acquisition for this team. He continues to hit the ball with authority. On to Chicago. Let's go, Redbirds!

I think Pham came back in that clubhouse and woke up some bats! Been a long time coming! McGreevy looked great or his MLB debut! He went farther in the game than any other pitcher on the staff! HA!

McGreevy pitched a gem of a debut. Not huge strikeout numbers, but I've not seen a groundball fiesta like that since earlier Mikolas and Dakota Hudson.

Capt. Obvious here... but when some of my friends say that baseball is too slow-moving and/or boring, I look at a highlight video such as this one and remind them what a uniquely intricate game baseball truly is. So much to be studied and appreciated. Plus, it's the only major sport in which the manager and coaches wear the team uniform. And it's such a cool departure from the other major sports (football, basketball, hockey, and soccer), all of which are based on the same basic principle of going back and forth on a playing surface attempting to get an object into the opponent's goal. Baseball is so different! And so cool!

So are you guys going to post anything hyping up McGreevy for an amazing debut? I was curious since you posted one for Skenes who didn’t make it out of the 4th giving up 3 runs hitting a batter, walking two more, along with six hits. If you guys posted more about the guys who are “no names” it’d draw a lot more attention to the sport versus just riding the top players so hard. It’s obnoxious.

Who agrees that this sp should stay in the major leagues and that he is ready we need him even if he’s still developing he can learn to a dot in mlb and have success it’s the only way to find out if he’s meant to be in the mlb don’t send him back cause he won’t learn anything else where he’s at

This might be well known already (I don’t watch many Ranger games) but Heany has a pretty obvious tell on his slider. He double clutches the ball every time he throws a slider, but doesn’t on the fb.

At first I thought this should’ve been called a balk, since you aren’t allowed to separate your hands unless you’re preforming the pitch. But I guess it’s allowed since he does it every time he throws a slider…

either way, I can’t be the only person that’s noticed this very obvious pitch tipping.

On behalf of the Texas Rangers fan base and to all of MLB fans out there, the Texas Rangers have given up on their quest of making back to back championships. This Rangers team is not good enoufh to chase down the Astros and Mariners for the division and I am accpeting defeat. The Hosuton Astros are your 2024 AL West Champs and they will be going to the Wolrd Series and they will best the Phillies or Dodgers this year.
