The great advantage of the pressure fan over the thumb fan, from a magician's perspective, is the level of control it gives you over the spacing between the cards, making it easier to hide slugs (pre-arranged sequences) by making the spacing too tight for anyone to read the card values - while loosening up and increasing the spacing for the rest of the fan. You can even hide whole portions of the deck being *face-down* in this way, and make it look like you're casually showing the faces of all the cards. It's a great move.

Thank you so much for the tutorial!! Literally the hardest Cardistry moves for me are the pressure moves, pressure fan, under pressure, and lepaul spread! Can never get any of them down, so I’m really glad you made this!

My grip strength in general is really good, comparing to other people, so this is one of the easiest flourishes for me, plus it looks super cool. Great tutorial!

Thanks for this excellent tutorial.
The tips really helped improve my fan, especially the finger placements,
and where you use the two fingers to finish the spread at the end.
And those Mints really look sharp.

Thanks for this video on the pressure fan. I have done once by accident and I could not figure it out again. Now I can see what I was doing wrong.

I usually spring cards off my thumb. Am I actually springing them off the fingers in the opposite direction?

Good tutorial. The best thing about the pressure fan is that you can use an old deck and it still look nice. Good luck using an old deck trying to do a thumb fan because it won't spread nicely. I also spent a lot of time learning the under-pressure fan as well. The problem with these 2 very cool looking fan is that IT WILL RUIN YOUR CARDS. So don't use your expensive cards while practicting these 2 fans.
