Показать описание
In this video I'm comparing the Roccat Syn Max Air with the Astro A50 Gen 4. These are two wireless headsets with their own features and highlights, advantages and disadvantages.

Roccat Syn Max Air:
Highlights include:
Loud sound (too loud frankly)
Deep and plush ear cushions
Dual connectivity with wireless and bluetooth at the same time
Charging base station for "convenient" fast charging
Two volume wheels (one of which is customisable)
Removable microphone

My thoughts:
Turn on and you get deafened by the connection sounds (loud beeps)
The same problem happens if you wander too far from your PC (OUCH)
Much more comfortable ear cups than the previous Syn headset
Deep ear cushions cover the ear and immerse you
LOUD as hell. Too loud in fact. I'm regularly running volume at around 20% or lower it's that loud.
Base station is a faff to dock with and not as user friendly as it should be.
Battery life seems really good?! but only 16 hours. Docking helps. Can be wired for charging
Two volume wheels are confusing.
Volume adjustment is fiddly and feels a bit imprecise.
Superhuman hearing is interesting but a faff
