that’s because you have a mother who still looks good in older age. When you have a mother that does nothing but hate on herself and constantly tell you “don’t get older & don’t gain weight” as a 7 year old it gets to you. even if they were jokes, it gets ingrained into your head that staying as young and tiny as possible is always going to be better.
