They MAY hold grudges. BUT they also will FOREVER REMEMBER what you do for them, like here. I had the Sweetest Russian blue as a kid, her name was Angel. She once got chased up high in a tree by a dog.And I climbed to get her down not know it was full of huge finger length thorns. I got one stuck in my thigh and couldn't get off of it. But I held her tight and firm refusing to let her go. It took 2-3 adults to get me off the thorn so I could get down. I never dropped her. From then on if she was ever up a tree again all I had to do was call her and she'd go to the shortest branch she could reach so I could reach her and get her down. She never clawed into me or anything, she KNEW I'd never let her fall. She trusted me completely. She died of old age passed 15 years. And because of her I LOVE Russian blue cats.
