I could spend all day listening about Portal development. It's really impressive how polished these 2 games are.

The lost "joke endings" thing, they almost made Stanley Parable and Portal 2 at the same time.

Listening to how valve develops their games is so refreshing in light of modern aaa game development

I really wish that “Morgan Freeman Sphere” was implemented into the game. That’s such a unique and hilarious idea.

Oh man, Chell saying yes at the end legitimately gave me chills. Shitty end to the game but what a cool scene.

The reason why I didnt complain about the new elevators was because the logic being that every room is a module. so the elevator is just another module that can be replaced with a modern one.

I get the concept of wanting to move away from Portals. The whole point of Aperture Science is that it's this huge science facility like Black Mesa so of COURSE there would be other experiments besides the portal gun... But that's the thing, people played and loved a PORTAL game, not an Aperture Science game. Which is why I'm glad they added back in the portals because otherwise it wouldn't really be Portal 2, it would be more like a Portal 1 spinoff game within the same setting.

Re: elevators. I wondered why there were new elevators. After playing through the game I passed it off as "we were in a different part of Aperture Science."

Welp, it's been confirmed.
Portal 1 takes place in the 2000s.

What if,
you wanted to win a GOTY award.
But Todd says:
"Skyrim"

They mentioned skyrim getting more game of the year awards at the end, but while I enjoyed skyrim, Portal 2 still remains one of my favorite games of all time.

The Valve crew is at E3 2020 and they have a very important announcement to make. The blazing glorious screen dims to a dark black and then slowly the portal logo fades in. THE CROWD BURST WITH HAPPINESS AND EXCITEMENT as the logo shines brightly. Moments after three words fade in below the logo reading "The card game"
The crowd doesn't know how to actually feel about this
oof
=P

Spoiler alert (for those who care):

Portal 2's ending is one of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had. I was looking around frantically for a place to put my other portal, and looked up and thought: "I wonder..." I was so hyped when it worked.

"Creating a Sequel to a Game That Doesn't Need One" funny valve could make a sequal for a game that didnt need one.... now if only they could make the sequal to that game they left with a cliffhanger >.>

If you have not played Portal 1 or 2 I highly recommend playing before spoiling it!

This is the fourth time I am listening about the F-Stop and it still pains inside how much I would want to play that game.

the only portal on moving platform was in this chamber 15:45
I was stuck for quite some time in this room because I specifically learned to never try to place portals on moving objects.
Another criticism from me is that most of the puzzles changed to 'find _the_ spot to place a portal on'.
