Expedition 41/42 Soyuz Commander Alexander Samokutyaev and Flight Engineers Elena Serova of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) and Barry Wilmore of NASA launched on the Russian Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft on Sept. 26, Kazakh time, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to begin a journey to the International Space Station. Once aboard the orbital outpost, the trio will start a 5 ½ month mission.
